# SATCHEL: Big chain. Little agent.

SATCHEL is a small pixel-art courier with a very large route: the Bitcoin network. The project combines an original orange-jacketed character with an independent read-only research console. Its job is to deliver observations with a source, a timestamp and the context needed to read them.

## From the field

The network desk reads actual Bitcoin mainnet blocks, public fee-rate recommendations and mempool observations from mempool.space. It displays the observed block height, pending transaction count, waiting virtual size and recent blocks. A successful refresh is not an invented stream of trades or fictional user activity.

Automatic refresh runs roughly once a minute while the page is visible. Network observations can be reused for up to 20 seconds. Paused updates and source outages do not become fabricated data; the previous observation retains its timestamp. Public sources can be delayed, unavailable or rate-limited.

## Count the sats

The fee desk combines an observed rate in satoshis per virtual byte with the virtual size specified by the user. It rounds the resulting estimate up to whole satoshis. Its 140 vB default is an example, not knowledge of a user's wallet or transaction.

Actual transaction size depends on inputs, outputs and script types. A recommendation does not guarantee inclusion in a particular block. Network conditions and transaction policy can change before broadcast. SATCHEL does not construct, sign or broadcast a transaction.

## A public record, not a private key

Paste a Bitcoin mainnet address or transaction ID. The inspector validates the address encoding and checksum with bitcoinjs-lib before requesting public information. An address report distinguishes confirmed balance, unconfirmed net change and historical transaction counts. It does not treat one address as a whole wallet or claim that a valid address proves ownership.

A transaction report separates its observed confirmation status, fee, virtual size, fee rate and output total. Change can be included in that total. The first twenty outputs or twelve recent address transactions are displayed when available. Confirmation counts depend on the provider's chain view; SATCHEL is not independently verifying a full node or SPV proof. Reorganizations remain possible.

## The little dispatch desk

Save up to eight inspected subjects to the local watch list. Refresh a subject explicitly. Record a network scan and export its JSON receipt, or export the entire local desk. A fee-watch rule can match actual observations while the page is open.

The desk is local browser storage, not cloud monitoring. It does not continue running after the page closes, and it sends no email, push notification or Telegram message. Clearing browser data removes local records. The provider receives query subjects, and exported financial relationships deserve care.

## What agent means here

The public agent executes deterministic research tools: observe, inspect and deliver structured evidence. It does not pretend these responses are language-model reasoning. The project also includes an eve agent with the same two read-only tools and disabled default shell, file and web tools. Its private model runtime requires its own authorized model connection and operational setup; the website does not expose a public model-spend endpoint.

## SATCHEL / WBTC

The intended token market is SATCHEL paired with WBTC on Pump. It is separate from the Bitcoin research application. The project mint, exact Solana WBTC quote-mint identity, market accounts and liquidity must be verified before publication. They are not configured yet. CA soon.

A familiar ticker does not establish asset identity, wrapping, redemption or reserves. Bitcoin observations do not establish token backing. SATCHEL is not a claim on BTC, a staking product or a promise of rewards or investment returns. It is not an official Bitcoin, WBTC or Pump.fun product. No token or pool has been deployed by this website build.
